1. Overview

H2 Panel is a clipboard history and notes tool for macOS. Our design principle is that clipboard content and notes stay on your device by default. We process limited account and device information only when you opt into related features, or when it is necessary to complete purchases, license activation, and support.

This policy applies to the H2 Panel app, this website, and online services related to purchases and licenses.

2. Information we collect

Account and purchase information: When you buy or recover a license on this website, we (and Paddle as Merchant of Record) may process the email address you provide and order or payment-related information. For Mac App Store purchases, payment and account data are handled by Apple; we typically receive only limited fulfillment-related information (such as a transaction identifier).

Device and license activation: To verify licenses and prevent abuse, we may process device-related identifiers, app version, activation or validation times, and technical information related to license status.

Optional analytics: If you consent or product configuration enables analytics, we may collect aggregated or de-identified usage data (such as feature usage overviews and crash diagnostics) to improve stability and experience. You may turn off or limit such collection in applicable settings (as offered in the product).

Clipboard and notes: By default, clipboard history, note content, and other local data remain on your Mac and are not uploaded to our servers. Only when you explicitly enable cloud sync or equivalent remote features are related contents transmitted and stored according to your choices.

Website and communications: When you visit this website, servers may record ordinary technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and access time). When you email help@h2app.dev, we process the contact content you provide in order to reply.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to: provide and maintain H2 Panel; complete purchases, issue receipts, and issue and verify licenses; prevent fraud and abuse; provide optional features such as cloud sync when you enable them; improve the product and website; and respond to support and legal compliance requests.

We do not sell your personal information. Except for the purposes described in this policy and as required by law, we do not use your content for unrelated advertising targeting.

4. Third parties

Apple App Store: When distributed or purchased through the Mac App Store, Apple’s privacy policy and store terms apply; payment and Apple ID–related data are processed by Apple.

Paddle: Paid purchases completed on this website (https://panel.h2app.dev) are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”) as Merchant of Record for payment, taxes, invoices, and certain buyer support. Paddle’s buyer terms and privacy policy that you agree to at checkout also apply.

Hosting and analytics: We may use cloud hosting, content delivery, email delivery, or analytics providers to operate the website and optional analytics. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services and are bound by contracts or applicable policies.

When you enable cloud sync or storage provided by a third party, that service’s privacy policy also applies; please read its documentation before enabling.

5. Retention and security

Local data: Clipboard and notes remain on your device by default; you may delete or export them using system and app facilities. Uninstalling the app may not remove all local data—please clean up manually as needed.

Server-side data: Purchase email, license, and activation records are typically retained for the life of the account and for a reasonable period afterward for fulfillment, fraud prevention, accounting, and compliance; specific periods may vary by legal requirements.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we process, but no internet transmission or electronic storage is absolutely secure. Please keep your devices and license keys safe.

6. Your rights

Depending on the laws where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal information we hold, to restrict or object to certain processing, and where feasible to obtain a portable copy of your data.

Local clipboard and note content is managed by you. For requests about purchase or license records, contact help@h2app.dev using your purchase email; we will verify and handle requests within a reasonable time. Some rights related to App Store purchases must be exercised through Apple.

7. Children

H2 Panel is intended for a general audience and is not directed primarily at children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you believe we have collected a child’s data in error, contact help@h2app.dev and we will delete it or take appropriate steps promptly.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. For material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page and, where reasonable, notify you via the website or in-app notices. Continued use of the services means you accept the updated policy.
